Wow, haven't written in here in quite sometime. Almost forgot I had a livejournal :-).
To catch up on the last year, I'll give a few highlights:
-Beach days were frequent
-As well as many many Disneyland trips
-"Awesomely Bad Movie Nights" at Jenae's that resulted in late night Albersons runs
-Got a tattoo
-Got a niece :-)
-Spent the holidays with the family
-Played Alma Hix in a production of 'The Music Man'
-Played Maggie Jones in a production of '42nd Street'
-Went on tour with UCO for a month
-Celebrated at many various parties (birthdays, going-away, ect.)
Currently, life seems to be going really well. I'm getting ready to enter my senior year at Azusa Pacific University and I couldn't be more content. I have an amazing group of friends to be thankful for that make life so much more sweeter, an awesome roommate, fabulous neighbors, and numerous events and productions to look forward to. I can't believe 4 years have flown by so quickly, and I am so excited to see what adventures this year has in store for me :-).

I'm offically an AUNT!
Lyla Opal May Gomez was born on November 14th at 8:26pm. She weighed in at 7lbs. 5oz.. She is absolutely gorgeous!

Well, thanksgiving weekend was quite the event. It was much deserved, and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
I didn't get to see many of you as much as I would have liked, but I suppose that too, among other things, will have to wait. We always have Christmas break (oh dear, the 3 week stretch).
But those of you I did see, made my visit all the more brilliant. I'll await the many invigorating adventures to come.
This week holds much potential as well, what with the annual "Celebrate Christmas" concert fast approaching. The long rehearsal hours will, luckily, be made bearable based solely on the fact that they are held at the Bat Cave (so many opportunities for adventure). Oh, how I adore my music department.
Our house is looking quite festive too. Ashely and Michelle decorated with lights and tinsel earlier today, we'll be cutting snowflakes tonight, and our tree will be arriving later this weekend. 'Tis the season ;-).
Oh yes, the close of this semseter will indeed be one for the records...

Hmm, I haven't posted in here in quite some time.
Well, what is there to say? Life is GOOD.
I have two of the greatest people in the world for best friends, we're (plus Darrel, he's a fun boy too :-)) going to Disneyland on Sunday, work staff this summer is amazing, and the adventures thus far for the summer have been quite exciting.
Like I said, life is GOOD.

As I'm in this process of "growing up", I've come to learn that even the one person that isn't supposed to ever let me down, probably will. I know that I'll have my heart broken and I'll break others' hearts. I'll fight with my best friend or maybe even fall in love with him, and I'll cry because time is flying by.
So you know what? I'm going to take too many pictures, laugh too much, forgive freely, and love like I've never been hurt. I'm learning that life comes with no guarantees, no time outs, and definately no second chances.
I just have to live my life to it's fullest, tell someone what they mean to me and even tell some people off. I'm going to speak out, dance in the pouring rain, hold someone's hand, comfort my friends, fall asleep watching the sun come up, stay up too late, be a flirt, and smile until my face hurts.
No longer will I be afraid to take chances or fall in love. And most of all, I'm going to live in the moment, because every second I spend angry or upset is just another second of happiness I can never get back.

Mmmm, I'm not sure why I woke up so early this morning, but I'm glad I did because it's BEAUTIFUL outside. Nice and cloudy, just like I like it :-D.
It's been a very nice week. I met a boy in the Men's Choral from Purdue University (which is in Indiana. Booo), who swept me off my feet. I NEVER get swept off my feet :-). It's a bit of a long story, but if you want to here it, message me over myspace. It's kind of like my own little fariy tale :-).
As for next week, there's alot to be done, but I have it all planned out, so I should be just fine. Besides, it really the weekend that I'm looking forward to.
Friday, after my classes, Sid is driving up to come pick me up, then we're going to Disneyland for a bit and ride some rides (we both have passes, so no, we're not wasting money :-)). Then, we're going to leave and head down to San Diego for the weekend! Later that night (friday), I'm meeting Danielle at Denny's with the rest of the Dramakids, and staying at her house that night. And then Saturday, I'm coming to see "Little Women" and am bringing some Granite Hills kids with me :-). And Finally Sunday, I'm going to see YATs "High School Musical" with my mom for Danae and some other friends. I will be buuuusy, but it's sure to be alot of fun :-).
So, here's to the coming week: May it be just as fabulous as it's weekend will!

So, I haven't posted in here for quite awhile. I might as well update you all on how life's been.
First things first, I am still absolutely loving APU :-). I have made some really close and fabulous friends (I find myself gaining more talented music major friends everyday, seeing as we pretty much all have the same over-filled schedule :-)). Second semester is going well, it consists of:
-Music Theory II
-Spanish II
-Bel Canto Choir
-Oratorio Choir
-Performance Forum
-Public Communications
-Intro to Music Technology
-Practical Musicianship II
-Advanced Piano
That's a full 18 units :-). Although, I haven't had much trouble with it so far, all my class build on what we learned last semester, so that's good. I also recently join another choir, and we'll be performing in Palm Springs in a few weeks. This week is "Mozart Week" in the School of Music, so Oratorio is doing a performance on Friday of the Solemn Vespers, along with the smphony orchestra accompaning us. Along with all this business, I love college life :-). My roomate and I get along fine, but I gained a close group a friends with some of the girls in my hall (mainly my suitemates Diane and Michelle, and then Ashley, Lindsay, Betsy, Whitney, and Melissa. Then there's the boys Mike, James, Sean, and Bryan). We have so much fun together playing games, having movie nights, ect. Actually, in a week or so Michelle and I are planning a road trip down to San Fransico (where she's from) for her, me, Jesse (her boyfriend), and Bryan. I'm really looking forward to that, it should be alot of fun :-).
As for the home life, it's going well, just getting my plans set for the summer. School lets out on May 5, so I'll be moving back home after that for the summer. I'm hoping to get the job at the Music Camp that I worked at last summer again. I loved that so much, and it was great preparation for my future career :-). Also, I'm getting ready to audtion for CCT and Starlight's summer seasons (CCT=Forever Plaid, West Side Story, and South Pacific/ Starlight=Aida, Beauty and the Beast, Oklahoma, and Ragtime). So wish me luck on that, I really can't wait to be in another show :-).
And then after that, it's back up to Azusa for Sophmore Year! I simply can't wait. Life is so good :-).

This morning of December 1 2006 my brother, Brandon Gomez, graduated from Air Force Bootcamp.

Fabulous night. Me, "The Girls", Mike, James, and Bryan got all dressed up and went to downtown Pasadena. We had dinner at "our" restaurant, Gelato Roma, and then we went with Diane to get her monroe piercing, which looks fabulous :-).
Now, time for games and interesting convo :-).
